Once again, it's been a while... almost a year. I've moved into a new house, been involved in an acquisition at work, built a few sets, and generally had a fun time. But I haven't updated the site at all.
So, here it is... I'm adding the F-35 finally and I'm putting an FAQ on the site because I really do the get same questions asked over and over.
I'm also adding a page where people can vote for the project(s) they would like me to do. I thought I'd see what the world thought. In addition, I plan to add a page for some non-aircraft sets I've done recently.
We home school our kids and this year we're going to use this site to teach them about business, work, responsibility and all that. So I'm planning on staying in touch with the site for the forseeable future.
A lot of people have been asking when I will be selling the sets again. Good news: I've been ordering thousands of pieces to be prepared to start selling them again.
I've decided to drop the shipping charges for inside the U.S. and I've discounted international shipping by the same amount. So if a set says it's $175, that's what it is, $175. No one has ever complained about shipping costs, it just seemed like the right thing to do. Note that I have NOT increased the set prices to adjust for the drop in shipping charges. I'm considering it an across-the-board drop in my prices.
I've made a lot of changes to the site and I'm going to upload them and go through it with my family and make sure everything is running smoothly.
Oh, yeah, on that note... I was updating the comments for the pages and accidentally destroyed all the old comments. Something a seasoned programmer like myself should never do... DOH! Oh well, we all make mistakes right?

I fixed a bunch of bugs on the website this morning. I spend some time going through the logs looking for errors. Hopefully the site is a bit cleaner. For those interested, I've gotten instructions created for two of the F-35s (A and C) and am almost done with the F-35B. I need to buckle down and finish it up.

I finally got the B-2 and the Apache (AH-64) on the site. I'm starting the B-2 off at $495, but I suspect I'll push that
price up after I figure out how much it really costs me. (I tend to underestimate at first.)
Next up, I've got 3 F-35s, one of which (the A variant) is ready with the instructions. The others are built but need instructions
made. Also, I've got the X-29 and a Skycrane.
I started work on a B-25, but it has been slow going.
Also, someone created images in the style of the LEGO® display model stickers which I want to get on the site with display stands.
I need more time!

This weekend I finished the instructions for the AH-64 Apache. Here are a couple of pics. I'll get it up for sale soon.

I've got a number of things in the works, starting with the B-2 Spirit. I need to do a final walk through of the instructions to make sure they're ready. This is a very complex and large set. It was fun to build and I am pleased with the results. I'll get more pictures up later.
By the way, if you were hoping to purchase a set for Christmas, sorry, it's too late at this point. Even so, I will do my best to get it to you ASAP.

It's been a year and a day since my last post here. Too funny... well, I've suspended sales of my sets because, honestly, I'm burned out on it. I have sold over 30 sets in the last two months and I have been spending every extra minute ordering and counting pieces. I've got to finish up the last two orders and then I am going to take a break for a while.
The instructions will still be on sale and I'm happy to answer questions so don't hesistate to message me. Thanks :-)

I finally finished the B-17. As I built it I took pictures so I could do a page describing the process. I'll be putting that up on the site eventually. So much to do, so little time. If only I could quit my job and do this full time... hmmm.
I've decided that I'm going to release something on this site every Saturday even if it's text and pictures. This week's release is some new pics of the F-16 and of course the B-17 instructions and pictures.
Next up on the list is the B-2 bomber. Then I have requests for a Harrier, F-15 and F-5. In addition to the airplanes, I also have a fully working clock which I want to touch up and create instructions for.

Hi, my name is Sheldon and I'm a LEGO® Addict!
A little about me: I live in Utah and work as a software engineer full time. I've collected LEGO® sets and pieces for years. In 2009 decided to build a collection of aircraft (jets, helicopter, prop-planes, etc.) to scale with the minifigures. The collection has turned out to be so popular that I figured out how to create instructions and began selling them on ebay and on this site.
I'm just releasing the site and as such there are a few loose ends still... namely, this page. This is a first entry, I'll be adding more and formatting it to be pretty as I get time.
My latest project is the B-17G. The plane is built, the pictures are taken. All I need to do is create the instructions (a process which takes a few hours) and publish it on the site.
Take a look around, enjoy yourself, send me a message, leave a comment and generally have fun. Oh... and send this site to all your friends ;-).
